Our Story
Nick and Alexa’s story began in 2019 when fate brought them together in Palm Springs, California. At the time, Alexa was living in Pasadena for college, while Nick was working two jobs out of state. Despite the distance, they instantly connected. Nick told Alexa she seemed pretty cool and that he’d love to get to know her better. She assumed he was just saying that, but to her surprise, he booked a flight to visit her just a few weeks later! That first visit turned into many more, and with each trip, their bond only grew stronger.
By August 2019, Alexa had moved back home, and Nick was right there by her side, helping every step of the way. Over the next few years, they worked hard to build the life they had always dreamed of. There were plenty of challenges along the way, but through every obstacle, they remained each other’s biggest supporters.
In 2023, they reached an exciting milestone and moved in together, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and their beloved furry family members. Then, on July 4, 2024, as fireworks lit up the sky, Nick got down on one knee and asked Alexa to marry him. Without hesitation, she said yes!
Life continued to bring exciting milestones. They purchased their first home together in Washougal, Washington, where they began building the next chapter of their lives. Nick achieved one of his biggest career goals by earning his Journeyman Electrician license after years of hard work and dedication, while Alexa continued growing her career and their future together.Originally, Nick and Alexa planned to say “I do” in 2026. But sometimes the best surprises lead to even better plans. When they found out they were expecting their first baby, they decided to postpone the wedding so they could fully embrace becoming parents. In March 2026, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Courtenay Kay, into the world. She quickly became the greatest joy of their lives, and they feel incredibly lucky that she’ll now get to be part of the celebration as they finally say “I do.”
As they prepare for this long-awaited day, Nick and Alexa couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with the people they love most. Their journey has been filled with unexpected adventures, unwavering support, and countless blessings. They are so grateful you’ve chosen to be part of this special chapter and can’t wait to celebrate a lifetime of love, laughter, and family with all of you.
